Here are some testimonials from those who participated in the program:

“Watching students participate in Unified Sports is truly an amazing experience. The players and spectators have the chance to learn and practice the very things that are important in life: respect and dignity for one another.”  ~ Tracie Heise, Kendall English Teacher

"The impact of this is amazing, not just for the athletes, but also the partners, coaches, parents and entire school community.  Every spectator that has approached me after a game told me how moved they were by the experience!  It’s a game changer in people’s lives." ~ Sue Smith, Kendall School Psychologist and Unified Coach

“It teaches kids to accept others for who they are and to embrace their strengths. For others, it provides hope and heartfelt warmth. My four-year-old still talks about how exciting it was at one of last year’s games.” ~ Jeff Decker, Kendall Technology Teacher

"I’ve grown up with an older brother with an intellectual disability. Watching Unified Sports helps show the world how students with disabilities are no different than anyone else. The participants focus on teamwork and overcoming setbacks. This opportunity also allows students with disabilities to feel what it is like to belong to a team and an athletic family.” ~ Jake Adams, Varsity Captain
